if people of color tell you that something a white person did is racist, the white person needs to apologize. no caveats, no justifications, no explanations, no guilt tripping. the white person doesn’t get to decide if something was offensive or not. the white person shouldn’t be saying that they logged off as soon as they saw people of color telling them to apologize for their actions. white people choosing not to apologize and including guilt tripping in what they call apologies highlights that they aren’t willing to acknowledge the wrongfulness of their actions and believe that their personal well being takes priority over that of people of color. people of color can’t log out of racism and the mental stress that comes with discrimination. white people shouldn’t be using their mental health as their primary excuse to not apologize for their racist, discriminatory actions.
The way men view women in movies is so funny because Rey with the Force shouldn’t be able to do all that and Carol Danvers with Superpowers shouldn’t be able to do all that but Singular Cop Dude with No Powers Trapped In A Building can take down 20 genius terrorists Alone (Die Hard)
wow people big mad on this post to-nite…. stay pissed off boo that doesnt make it less true
I’m sorry but before OP said Die Hard my first thought was Paul Blart Mall Cop
